Obama nominated John Kerry for Secretary of State a mere month and a half ago. Already, John Kerry has insulted our allies, made a racist comment indicating that Egyptians are only capable of developing a “version” of democracy, expressed his complete ignorance about Middle East policy, gaffed by inventing the Central Asian country of “Kyrzakhstan”, and trash talked the American people while abroad.
Since Obama nominated John Kerry in return for political favors, John Kerry has never had an ounce of credibility as a diplomat. The international scene has reacted accordingly: We already knew that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov didn’t return his phone calls for 6 days. Now, in another national embarrassment, “Secretary of State John Kerry pressed Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Maliki on Sunday to stop Iran from flying arms across Iraqi territory to the beleaguered Syrian regime, but found him unwilling to give ground.” Hmm– so after the U.S. spent trillions of dollars and thousands of U.S. troops were killed during the Iraq War, Obama nominated an incompetent Secretary of State who is incapable of dealing with the Iraqi Prime Minister. As a result, Iraq is currently enabling support from the genocidal terrorist regime in Iran to reach the genocidal terrorist regime in Syria (which has been accused of killing approximately 45,000 Syrian civilians in cold blood and using chemical weapons against a Syrian rebel army base)… after all the American lives and finances poured into Iraq. Obama’s foreign policy failures can’t get much more pathetic than this.
